After a long battle with wealthy sides Chelsea and Manchester City, Liverpool now confirm the deal with Glen Johnson. The transfer fee will be £ 17.5 million, which both City and Chelsea also were willing to offer for the defender. All up to Johnson, the defender decided Liverpool was the best alternative.
Liverpool’s latest investment is the 16 year old Aaron King. The striker will join the Reds from non league club Rushden & Diamonds after an evident successful trial. He will join Liverpool for a two year scholarship on 6th of July this summer for an unknown fee. King is the third player to make a move from Rushden & Diamonds to a Premiership side.

Suprisingly Gareth Barry has signed a conract with Manchester City. Rafael Benitez has tried to sign the midfielder from Aston Villa for quite some time, but as it turns out he has now signed a five year contract with City and will definetly not be playing for the reds next year.
